Albany, Oregon Veterans Day Parade

Featuring more than 200 entries and as many as 40,000 spectators, Albany’s Veterans Day Parade is not only the largest Veterans Day event in the Willamette Valley and in Oregon as a whole but the largest of its kind west of the Mississippi.

The parade, which always starts at 11 a.m. at 7th and Jackson streets, features veterans from wars past and present, marching units, military vehicles, and marching bands. The parade is organized and run each year by veteran volunteers. If you’re interested in military hardware, this is the place to be on Veterans Day – unless it’s Sunday, in which case the parade is held Saturday.

The parade is the culmination of a three-day series of veterans-focused events. For more details, click here.
